The main natural attraction of the region is the famous
Narva-Jõesuu Beach. It is considered the longest sandy seaside beach in Estonia, stretching for about
9 kilometres along the southern shore of the Gulf of Finland. The wide strip of light sand and the pine forests lining the coast create a distinctive landscape that has helped the resort remain popular for more than a century.
Today Narva-Jõesuu is a year-round destination. In summer visitors come for the sea and the beach, while in other seasons they enjoy walks in the pine forests,
relaxation in spa centres and the peaceful atmosphere of the resort. The area offers modern spa hotels, accommodation, restaurants and leisure facilities.
