The Narva-Jõesuu Lighthouse is one of the town’s most recognisable landmarks and an important part of its maritime history. Located at the mouth of the Narva River, where the river meets the Gulf of Finland, it has served as a navigational guide for vessels entering the river from the sea for more than a century. The tall, light-coloured tower has become an integral element of the coastal landscape and a distinctive symbol of Narva-Jõesuu.

Today, the lighthouse is not only a navigational structure but also a popular place for walks and discovering the town’s maritime character. From here, visitors can enjoy views of the sea, the river, the breakwater and the coastline, while the surrounding area is gradually becoming a gathering place for both visitors and locals. A visit to the lighthouse offers a sense of Narva-Jõesuu’s connection to the sea, its past and present, and the unique atmosphere of a border seaside resort at the eastern edge of Estonia.

During the tourist season, the lighthouse is open to individual visitors, who can enter the tower and experience the coastline from a new perspective. Outside the main season, the Narva-Jõesuu Lighthouse welcomes groups of 10 or more by prior arrangement. School groups, groups of friends and work collectives can turn their visit into a memorable shared experience.
