Narva-Jõesuu Beach is officially recognised as the longest seaside resort beach in Estonia, and this record location is now marked with a special yellow geo marker “Estonian Record Place”. A long stretch of soft sand runs along the coast of the Gulf of Finland, bringing together the sea, pine forest and resort architecture into one distinctive landscape.

This beach is not only a place for swimming and sunbathing, but also for walks, jogging, watching sunsets and enjoying slow-paced relaxation throughout the year. The installed geo marker highlights the uniqueness of the site and informs visitors that one of Estonia’s natural records can be found right here.
Ida-Viru County is home to the highest number of record-breaking places in Estonia, and now each of them has received a distinctive marker. Recognisable yellow geo markers have appeared across the county, helping visitors easily locate these unique points on the regional map. In total, 19 record place markers have been installed, along with four “Adventure Land Gates” that welcome guests and symbolically open the way to Ida-Viru County — the land of records, nature and discoveries.
