The Memorial to Fallen Fishermen is located on the former territory of the Oktjabr fishing collective in Narva-Jõesuu and is dedicated to fishermen who lost their lives at sea. The memorial honours those whose everyday work and lives were closely connected with the sea and fishing traditions.

The monument was established in the early 1990s at the initiative of colleagues and the local community. Its design features maritime symbols such as an anchor and a ship propeller, representing the fishermen’s profession. Nearby granite plaques bear commemorative inscriptions and names.

It is a quiet place of remembrance that reflects an important part of Narva-Jõesuu’s maritime history.
