Narva-Jõesuu Yacht Club is the easternmost yacht club in Estonia. The club is located on the shore of the Gulf of Finland, at the mouth of the Narva River and has direct access to the sea.
Due to its favorable geographical location, Narva-Jõesuu Yacht Club plays a central role in the development of sailing and tourism in the region, attracting yachtsmen of different ages from Narva-Jõesuu, Narva, Sillamäe, Jõhvi and Kohtla-Järve.
The yacht club offers a wide range of services on the territory of the club for both yacht club members and guests of the city of Narva-Jõesuu. The yacht club was founded in 2020. At the moment, there are 18 boatowners in the club.
The club has a sailing school, which was founded thanks to the support of the city of Narva-Jõesuu. The school provides year-round sailing training for youth from 7 to 21, and during the active training season the club has up to 20 boys and girls. Athletes from the sailing school of Narva-Jõesuu Yacht Club actively and successfully represent the city in competitions throughout Estonia and abroad. The fleet consists of 16 boats: 5 Optimist class boats, 5 ILCA boats, 4 RS Tera, 1 RS Feva, 1 RS Quest.
The sailing school organizes the Hungerburg Regatta in Narva-Jõesuu at the beginning of June, which brings together more than 70 participants from all over Estonia in Optimist, Zoom8, ILCA 4, ILCA 6, RS Aero and RS Tera classes.
For larger yachts, the club organizes local Sunday Regatta. Statistically, 80% of the club's fleet, as well as yachtsmen from neighboring yacht clubs, gather at the start in the Gulf of Finland every second Sunday of the month. The Sunday Regatta is an amateur competition and is aimed at enlivening the everyday life of the Narva-Jõesuu Yacht Club.
The Narva-Jõesuu Yacht Club is not just a great place to dock your boat, but also a center of yachting tourism and maritime culture in Narva-Jõesuu.
